Doug's Story
Life
I am married to my wife Jill and I have three boys, Ryan 31, Joshua 29, and Kyle 25.
My son Ryan and his wife Brittany have two beautiful children Mya Elizabeth 4, and Kash Henson 2. My son Josh has just been medical released from the Army after being injured in Afghanistan in 2010. My son Kyle works at OU.
I have been working Higher Education in the IT department for the last 26 years mostly in Information Technology....Expand for more
I currently work at St. Gregory's University as IT Director. I have an inherited kidney disease that my Dad died from in 2003. I received a kidney transplant on December 23, 2007 and I am doing great and hopefully I will continue to improve as each day goes by.
I started boxing in 1976 and continued for 11 years until I was diagnosed with my kidney problems. I won state championship 5 times and golden gloves championship twice.
