Doug's Story
Life
i was born in Oakland at Kiaser hospital, lived in Pinole until I was 6 then moved to Pleasant Hill. I lived on Rose Ln in Gregory Gardens right down the street from Strandwood Elementry where I went from 3rd grade until 6th grade. I then went to Pleasant Hill Intermediate for 7th and 8th grades. On to PHHS where I had the luck of going to until it closed after my sophmore year. I then was shuttled over to College Park for 1 year and moved to the Salinas Valley after my Junior year and went North Monterey County High School for my Senior year. I went into the Navy after graduation and served for the Navy CB's in Port Hueneme until moving back to Prunedale and working in Salinas for my Step Fathers oil company, Salinas Valley Oil. 1985 I rolled a forklift and messed...Expand for more
up my pelvis pretty bad and when I got out of the hospital I decided that life was too short and to pursue my dreams of music. I moved to the Bay Area and started a band. That band became a progressive rock band by the name of Enchant. We got signed, have put out 8 CD's and a live DVD, we've toured the world several times with bands like Dream Theater, Marillion and Spock's Beard, and have been together for like 19 years.
I am a real estate appraiser, I've been married for 14 years to my soul mate Robin Noble who went to Monte Vista in Alamo, still play music, have a cover band called the Gigantics that plays at Dan's and Masse's in Walnut Creek a couple times a month. I still daydream of surfing at Moss Landing like I did every day for the 5 years I lived in Prundale!
