Life
Hey gang. After high school I kicked around a little until Julie Kloep and I got married. Shortly after that I got hired in Buffalo Grove as a fireman and have been there ever since though the promoted me to Lieutenant a couple years ago. Julie is the Coordinator of Special Education for the Lincolnshire school district. We have 3 great kids. Matt a senior at Palatine High is searching for colleges and wants to be a special ed teacher. Jill is a freshman at Palatine and loves to dance and socialize. nuts about soccer. The three of them keep us busy between sporting events, church and social activities.
When not working we like to spend time together, love to travel, mostly to the mountains or warm sandy spots.
College
College days. I didn't go straight to college I waited till the 90s to do college. I had taken an occasional class but never put it all together. I finished an associates degree in Fire Science in 96 and then in 2000 I went back to class through Southern Illinois to get a Bachelors in Fire Management.
