Life
Graduated Brigham Young U 1968 including four months studying in Salzburg, Austria, spring 1966). US Army enlisted 68-75, Vietnam Aug 69-70. MA Cal State Hayward. Army ROTC Berkeley. 2LT US Army Field Artillery 77-79. Caltrans since 1980. Retired December 2004 as a Senior Transportation Planner, Caltrans District 4, Oakland. Now living in Martinez. Travels include a cruise up the Yangtze from Yichang (near Wuhan) to Chongqing through the Three Gorges in 2000 before the dam was completed. Love opera...Expand for more
and classical music. Season ticket to the San Francisco Opera. I saw Wagner's Ring cycle performed at the Met in April 2004. I have also traveled to Seattle, Chicago, Santa Fe and Orange County to see The Ring. Have 1.5 dachshunds and 0.5 doberman. I serve on the Contra Costa County Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board, as well as on the Native American Ministry Committee and the Israel/Palestine Task Force of the California-Nevada Conference of The United Methodist Church.
