Doug's Story
Some of my favorite memories from AHS:
1. Being banned from my own Home Room for several months (Thanks, Henry Volk!)
2. Tying a rope around the neck of my fetal pig in Herr Blaze's class, then lowering it down so that it was hanging outside the window of the chemistry class below (with an assist from Bill Shaver)
3. James L Johnson (Drum! Gum! No!)
4. Ham Manhattans
5. The AFS Fair in our Senior Year. We put on a "Big Time Wrestling" show. My main memory of thi...Expand for more
s is Steve Smith. He was dressed up in a cowboy outfit. During his match, he tore off his fake mustache and used it to strangle his opponent. Dick the Bruiser would have been proud!
6. Performing in a Marx Brothers routine in the talent show with Alex Williams, Dave Schulenburg and Steve Smith.
7. Mary Benedict atop a tank, dressed as George Patton, rolling down the Main Corridor (Hold it, scratch that! It was a nightmare I had years later)
8. My Home Lunch Pass
