Lorna's Story
Hi! Looking forward to getting together! A little bit about what I've been up to over the past 50 yrs: After high school I got an associates degree in liberal arts at NECCo and horsed around (literally) for a few yrs. I was married for the next 24 yrs, during which time we adopted a newborn baby boy. (He's 33 now.). At that point I went back to college at Salem University and earned a teaching certificate. band & I divorced and I eventually remarried. My husband and I have been together 14 yrs now. He has 2 grown daughters. We have no grandchildren, but we have a wonderful puppy. When I was 59 I got back in the saddle after decades away. It's been my passion ever since. Presently I'm fostering a Paint horse who was rescued from the kill pen a couple yrs ago and has been at a sanctuary until I took him on recently. Doug and I kayak once a week or more often when it's warm enough. Otherwise, you can find me at the barn down the road from our home in Chichester, NH.
