Doug's Story
Well, here we are Christmas 2009. There has been cold weather here in Shelton, Wa. and precipitation, but not at the same time. So, I've tried to get the best of both worlds together and sent them on to my family and friends back east. It's a cold frosty morning about 24 degrees and the sky is clear. n. I'll probably keep working part time for a while until Carol gets used to the idea of having twice as much husband and half as much money. This year has been kind of trying but we have come through so far. Our grandson Jared(22 is in Iraq trying to keep the peace ands get home to his Erika in Rochester, N.Y. Hope to make their wedding but it's a ways off yet. Besides I'd never been to Lake Placid, N.Y. We had about 2 years to save up to go. Wishing all a healthy, happy and white Christmas.
