and I was fortunate to win the Council for Wisconsin Writers award as the best novel of 2010 by a Wisconsin writer. (You can read about it on my website. Just Google my name - Douglas D Armstrong - or the book's title. It will be in the top five hits.)
I've lost my yearbook (I think my mother threw it out) and I haven't been to a reunion since the 20th, but I am trying to catch up a little before reading from my novel at Common Good Books in St. Paul Oct. 4. It's a plug, i suppose, but I would like to catch up with old friends.
Best wishes from Wisconsin.
