Douglas's Story
Soon after graduation received my draft notice. I enlisted in the Navy aug. Of 1972 with two other buddies. I was stationed on a ship at San Diego Ca. I went Overseas twice during my enlistment. I was discharged in 1975 at Treasure Island, San Francisco. I loved the ocean, beaches and mountains so decided to stay in Benicia small bayside community. estry. I met my future wife in 1983 and married in 1985. We have one boy which now is working in the movie industry at Pasadena Ca. Amazing story-my wife Barbara had relatives that lived in Ottawa back the early 1900s and are buried in Highland Cemetary- small world. I am now retired enjoying life. WOW! After being quiet and shy in High school finally broke out of my shell and have a lot to say! Wish all of you and your Families the best in 2023
