Douglas's Story

I'm a retired Military Officer. I played Baseball with the Chicago White Sox for a few years and immediately started a coaching career working with Jug Kell and Gerald Barge and going back home to Hapeville to teach and coach. I married Sandra Brock after H.S. and lost her to cancer in 1985. I have 4 living children and spend most of my time coaching them. I currently teach young baseball players hitting and pitching in Peachtree City, GA. ...Expand for more
My teaching and coaching assignments have been in Newton County, Cartersville, Hapeville, Woodward Academy, and Landmark Christian Academy. I miss all the old guy's from George H.S. I graduated from Jacksonville State Univ., Masters from Central Michigan, Specialist (T6) from Nova Univ. I completed Command General Staff College, the Army War College and the Air War College. Life is good. I spend alot of time at LAKE SINCLAIR with my family.
