Douglas's Story

Life A lot has happened since I jump started my 67 Camaro in the AHS parking lot! I've been here in the Midwest for over 23 years and enjoy being close to Chicago. It is still my favorite city although Lake Michigan is no substitute for the New England beaches. After working for three large companies and traveling all over I made a career move about 10 years ago that got me into the Manufacturers Representative business. Three years ago I started up my own rep agency, Expert Sales & Marketing calling on the industrial, contractor supplies, and safety products markets. Being a small business owner is both rewarding and challenging. One the personal front, I have a two absolutely wonderful children 19 and 20 both attending school. In July of 2005 I got remarried after nine years...Expand for more
of bachelorhood following a divorce. My new bride Suzi has two younger boys 9 and 11. Although it is unfortunate that so many people have experienced the pain of divorce and the challenge of blended families, we are all doing well and it's working. Suzi and I share the same passion for life and a common interest in traveling. My Dad still lives in South Attleboro and I visit the area often. I must of course sample all the favorite foods from the area when I'm there. You can't get clamcakes, steama's, or decent chowda in Chicago. Having just turned 50 I feel fortunate and thankful for many things. Many of our friends, classmates, family memebers and associates have passed. I still have my own teeth and hair! It's great to wake up, open the obits and not see your name there!
