Douglas's Story

The years have flown by and life has been very good to me. Like most of us I look back at the many crossroads I have encountered, and as they say with age comes wisdom.. Ahhh yes, now I see I made a few wrong turns along the way and still survived... I am married to a wonderful woman, have a beautiful family, and proud of them. My wife is a school teacher and could have retired several years ago but still loves teaching. The eldest daughter is a college graduate, married to a great guy. My youngest will soon complete her college education and is engaged to a great guy. I could not be happier to have them all in my life.. I am in the entertainment business and love my job... It allows me to get out and entertain an audience, and feel them let go of the problems of everyday life for a while, and enjoy the music. Everyone wants to have a good time, and to be part of that makes me feel like what I do is important. We provide party and entertainment services for weddings, receptions, reunions, car shows, street fairs, festivals and other events that require DJs Bands And More... If you would like to see our web site let me know ! I would like to know more about my friends and class mates from those long ago years. I have looked at numerous profiles and often thought I recognized them, but then I think who would recognize me ? I lived in Indy most of my life but now call Rockville Indiana home. We do work in Indy frequently providing event services for weddings, re-unions, private corporate events, Fairs ...Expand for more
and festival, and other events. I am looking for a picture of me when I was in school and will get one posted as soon as I find one. If you read this and think you may know me, let me know ! It may be hard to find a pic from high school since I was not a very motivated student and was more interested in getting out into the real world to make my mark and rake in the "BIG BUCK'S" than being involved with school functions like getting a year book pictures taken... I must have been working on the days the pictures were taken or skipped out of school... Shame on me ! Looking back I realize I didn't spent much time being involved with others from my school. I was always involved with a lot of other activites, skating, playing with a band, working, and never seem to have time to hang out with others from school or from my neighborhood. I know now that was a mistake, and missed a lot of fun. It seems strange now to be doing a high school prom as a the DJ or MC after 45 years... Since I didn't attend my own prom. When I think back about all the Proms, Dances, Parties, Fairs, Festivals, and other events I have had such a great time at, it makes me think about what I missed by not being more active in school actvities. Well enough about me, before you stare at this monitor so long you have to have a hypnotist snap their fingers to break the trance, I will close this for now. For those who may wish to find out more about me please send me a note or response. Sincerely, Doug ( aka ) DJ The Dream Weaver
