Life
Born in Highland Park, MI in 1936. Mother died in 1943 and father in 1955. An older half brother died in 1985 and younger brother in 2004. Was raised in an orphanage and foster homes after mother died. In 1950 was sent to the Starr Commonwealth for Boys, in Albion, MI then to a branch in Jackson, MI. Attended Jackson High School 1952-54. Joined the USMC after graduation and was sent to the West Coast. Married in 1957 while stationed at Marine Barracks, Bremerton, WA. hout a degree went to work for an Engineering consultant. Left consultant and joined the Seattle Engineering Department Traffic Division. Was divorced in 1966 and remarried in 1972. Three daughters were born during the first marraige. In 1971 recieved my Washington Professional Engineer's license. Married again in 1972. One daughter born in 1976 . Retired from the Seattle Department of Public Utilities in 1998 as Director of the Engineering Support Division. Wife Sharon retired from Seattle School District in 2004. Active in church, community theater, singing, playing bridge, and travel.
