Catch 'em up on what you've done and who you are. Since 1978 I have worked to make the US energy self sufficient by exploring for fossel fuels in the great state of Texas. In 1990 I was mowing lawns to feed my family for 8 dollars an hour when oil was 10 dollars a barrel. Never once did I ask for help. On a shoestring I started an environmental company to address underground storage tank assement and clean up. After 5 years in the business we became the largest environmental firm in central Texas. We mainly worked govenment contracts and made millions off of the enviromental laws that did nothing for the environment and only served to assuage our collective guilt for living on this planet. During the 1990's I concentrated on my environmental company but continued to dream of a day when I could get back to what I loved, which was drill for oil. In 2001 I bought a field in Shackelford County that was only making 3 barrels of oil per day. With two other partners we began to drill and have since drill 27 wells on these leases.
