Douglas's Story
Life
I got married in 1980, and then moved to Virginia in '81. I have lived in Richmond, Va since then. I have two daughters, both of whom will be out of the house as of Sept 2006. The youngest starts college then and the oldest will graduate in Dec. 2006, after which she plans on attending Seminary. My wife and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary this past Sept (2005). Life has been good to us.

I left NY for VA and worked Pest Control a year and a half then on to Collections first at a bank then at MCV hospitals. At MCV I went on to get my BS in Math and computers. I then took the Job I have now at Va. Workers' Compensation Commission.
At VWC I started as the Programmer/DBA (aka: the entire development staff). I am now the Applications Development Manager here with 5 full time employees and several contractors under my purview.
