Duane's Story
Moved from New Orleans to Waverly, Ohio in the summer of 1972. After graduating from Waverly High School I went to BYU for 2 years, studying chemical engineering. Spent 2 years as a missionary in Brazil and still remember some of my portuguese. Finished school at The Ohio State University with a degree in International Business. Went into the Army as a second lieutenant in field artillery. Married my wife, Lisa. Learned to fly Blackhaw...Expand for more
ks and flew with the 501st Aviation Battalion in Ansbach, Germany. Left the Army as a Captain and tried my hand at sales. Found I like computers more so I got into computers and computer security, though I did get my MBA rather than a Masters in Computer Science. Along the way, my wife and I had 5 children, boy, girl, girl, boy, boy. We now live in Pickerington, Ohio and I manage a cyber-security practice for a national consulting firm.
