Duane's Story
Life
I have become a living legend in Rome Italy. I'm called "Americano" in the hood. Place is awesome. I moved here in 86. I played college baseball 2 years in San Francisco City College 79-80 then single A with the St Louis Cardinals Organization in Florida in 81. A torn rotator cuff ended a promising career. I pitched for NU in 77 with my Brother Dave and a good team headed by Chuck Caruso and coached by Metz. We came in 2nd place the best finish in NU history.

aces and did many different jobs after 81 until I married an Italian Beauty in 83. We lived in SF for a few years and then moved to her hometown Rome pop. 5 million. I have two daughters now 21& 19 Dominique & Janike. They are cousins of Cameron & Chandler Landon.
I play basketball in a mens league,jog and play tennis to stay in shape, which isn't easy because the food and wine here are great. I work for the world food programme here in Rome, which is part of the UN.
