Duane's Story
There must be a story in here somewhere.
I want to thank Harold Johnson for teaching me to touch-type in the summer of 1961. The sound of a metronome will always take me to the second floor typing room of SHS.

ld on the platen / screen. Perhaps it is sufficient to acknowledge that in the spring of 1966 my life changed as a direct result of my ability to use a typewriter. So wherever you happen to be Mr. Johnson, Thank You. The quick brown fox (still) jumps over the lazy dog's back.
I believe most of what I think I remember. I am fortunate to have some friends that I have known my entire life and some that I met just recently. It continues to be a good ride.
Each day I get another chance to enjoy it, whatever "it" is that I happen to be doing. I like sand between my toes. I like pelicans swooping low over the waves.
As you read this, I hope that your tote board has more ticks on the plus side. I trust that your biggest regret is having to wait until tomorrow to finish, or start.
God has blessed me. May God bless you, friend.
