I live in the Stuarts Draft area and have been employed by Augusta Healthcare, Inc. since 1980. I also serve as organist at Mint Spring United Methodist Church. Several years ago I wrote a full-length novel which was published in 2006 under the title "Mint Spring: A New Beginning". If anyone is interested, it is available through Amazon.com and most of the other online booksellers. I have two grown daughters (from my first marriage), a 14-year-old son, and a 9-month-old grandson. In December of 1991 I married Gloria, the love of my life. d a stroke and has had to retire on disability.
Hobby-wise, I still play my guitar and enjoy art. I love to read and am absolutely hooked on British television comedy. Over the years I have gotten involved in collecting and restoring classic cars which, to anyone who remembers me, should come as no surprise. The current "fleet" consists of six vehicles and you're likely to find me displaying one of them at most any of the local car shows or cruise-ins. The favored 'show' car is a 1979 Lincoln Continental Collector's Series in midnight blue, while my preferred 'driver' is a white and wedgewood blue Continental Mark V of the same vintage.
