ELIZABETH's Story
After graduation, 1985, got married to my high school sweetheart (he graduated 1982 at Cammpbell Highschool), started our family and moved to the mainland, and been there for 20+ years. We raised our 3 daughters who all graduated from Currituck High School in Moyock, North Carolina. Our oldest daughter, Tracey, is now married and with 2 daughter's aka our granddaughters and currently lives in Greenville North Carolina. Our second daughter, Waileia, lives with us in Kula, Hi with her son, our grandson, Kaii aka papa, and our youngest daughter just graduated from bootcamp in chicago, and is now going through A school for the Navy. we welcomed our one and only son, Kamuela! He was born in Portmouth Naval Hospital, I wished he was born in Hawaii, but he is healthy and we finally have our son!!! In 2010, my husband got a job offer and we accepted and moved back home. Been here in Kula Maui since 2010 and we love it. As for me, I am a stay at home mom and when my husband is home, we spend majority of our time at the beach STAND UP PADDLING! We would NEVER leave Hawaii. Living in the mainland has made our "moolah" go farther and able to buy 2 homes in North Carolina, but it's not the same of being back home. Life is GOOD but GOD IS GREAT on providing all of our needs.
