Earl's Story
It's had to believe high school was back in the mid-60's for me. Life has been good even with the ups and downs.
I went right out of high school and into the Marines. Call me crazy, I guess I'd have to agree with you. Especially considering what was going on back then. Overall it was good for me. I was infantry and spent four months of a 12 month tour in Vietnam until I was wounded. It ended up being my ticket home and after almost a year of recouperation my ticket out of the Marines.
I got in three years of college then got married in '72. Going back and finishing was in my plans but didn't happen.
I worked for a dairy from about 1974 through late 1986 until they closed the doors. During that time my wife and I moved to Garden City (1977) with our first child. A daughter. We eventually had one more girl and two boys after that.

a few temporary jobs I began working for a company called Michigan Cat, a heavy equipment and truck engine dealership, in April of 1988 where I am still currently employed. Times are hard, business is down just like everywhere else but I thank God I'm still working.
2008 and 2009 have been my most difficult years and I must admit that my faith in God and my family and friends have supported me more than ever. After 36 years of marriage my wife died of cancer on November 24, 2008 after being diagnosed in late May of that year. We already had one granddaughter and were expecting three more in 2009. They were born in January, March and April, A boy and two more girls. Needless to say, they are my pride and joy.
Unfortunately I didn't keep in touch with many friends I had in H.S. I wouldn't mind hearing from anyone even if we didn't know each other.
