After graduating Ligon High School in 1970, attended NCCU in Durham for two years majoring in Political Science. Interrupted school for three year stint in Air Force. After being honorably discharged, Came back to NCCU changing major to music with a concentration in jazz studies. he time at Duke University. Performed with R&B bands throughout the late seventies until mid eighties. Worked as microelectronics field as technician for five years before a year of law school study at Chicago Kent School of Law. Worked as letter carrier for the Postal Service. Retired and now enjoying life performing, on doublebass and doing jazz vocals at my leisure, at various jazz venues around Raleigh
