Earlene's Story
I have lived in this area all of my life. I am one of six siblings. All but two of us have moved out of state. I have never had the desire to leave this area for any length of time.
My first job was at Jefferson County Newspapers, where I got paid almost nothing to print the classified ads. What I remember most about it is I worked at night in the warehouse all alone.
My oldest friend is probably Carla (Herget) McKay. I met her in the second or third grade and we have been friends ever since. She is very outgoing and always happy.
In 10 years, I hope to be debt free. I'm going to get there by working very hard.
I share my home with my husband, Lanny, and my son Dustin, which I find very satisfying.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I never pursued it.

on from my past who I'd most like to see again is Miranda Evans, because she was my best firend from a very early age and I miss her.
I really love reality shows such as American Idol and Survivor. My all time favorite series is The Office. You have to have a warped sense of humor to enjoy it and I guess that describes me.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen add vinyl siding and a deck out back. My dream home would be much larger than the one I currently have.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10 percent of it to my church, then spend the rest on paying off debt, buy a new house and spend the rest on my family.
My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be almost dead. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm very funny and girly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a snob.
