Ed's Story
It's almost been 40 years at this point. It's amazing how fast it went in retrospect. I just looked at my yearbooks for the first time since the '80's. What a great time that was. I tell people that we were a senior class for 3 years in a row. It's hard to explain the bond that grows having a new school grow with you. What have I been up to? Looking back, there are no amazing stories. I ended up not going to Davidson due to finances which was a bummer. I did the SCC/UCF route and got a degree in History. Apparently, I couldn't find a less useful degree! Just like LMHS, when you look at the growth of UCF its shocking. While going to school, I got the retail bug and basically was retail management for years. I have lived up and down the eastern coast of Florida from Vero Beach to Miami. ch way. I shudder to think of it now but having a house in the country is pretty awesome. Currently, I live in Ohio spending time with my Mom. I didn't want her to be alone and we make each other laugh so its a joy helping her out. I live in fear of a strong winter. So far it hasn't been so bad.
I never married and have no children. It's a strong regret but such is life. I'm glad there have been no psychos. I guess I was loud at school. Not surprisingly, I have heard that comment most my life. I laugh loudly and wear my heart on my sleeve. It's a good life. I admit it's a bit odd when I have to explain I was known as "Peaches" in high school. I guess I could just omit this fact but I really don't have much of a filter. Well I say that but I rarely talk about our junior year in football. God, that was brutal!
Our class was full of great people. I hope you all have had a fulfilling life and it continues. If you want to say Hi, reach out to edades bellsouth.net. (stupid filters)
