Ed's Story
My family left Chico in '67, my junior year, and moved to Fair Oaks just out of Sacramento. I graduated from Del Camp High but never really hooked in there.
After graduation we moved to Lake Tahoe. I worked in the Harrah's restaurant in the summer and went to Pasadena College, a private Christian college in Southern Cal. Two years and a wife [of 38 years] later, I struck out into the world as a business systems field engineer [fancy term for cash register repairman] with NCR in Reno.

d a great job with a national retail chain landed us in Vancouver Washington where we currently reside. I worked into management with a lot of nationwide traveling. Then in '96, our section of the IT dept was downsized and outsourced.
I went independent and have provided IT services for many small business clients since then. We're currently running an eCommerce site at BoomersSupply.com where we offer products of interest to baby boomers.
Sandy and I have one daughter, two sons, and five granddaughters, the youngest of which is in my profile photo with me at the county fair.
