Ed's Story
I'm Ed Cooper. I was mostly reserved during my high school days - although I was on the track and field team and managed some of the basketball teams.
My wife (Linda) and I have been married for 45 years. We had two children (Cheralynn and Richard) who have given us 6 grandchildren (Taylor, Chase, Chad, Madison, Dustin and Deva Lee).
During my career, I was considered a software marketing expert - though I started out as an electrical engineer. I'm now retired because I made a ton of money being a CMO for a few high profile software companies (Novell, Legato, Oracle and I...Expand for more
BM). Back in 1983 I wrote the first book on the topic of networking which includes today's Internet, global networks and on-line services.
My wife and I jump back and forth between 3 homes: one in Napa, another in Maui, and a 3rd in the Gold Country.
I play a lot of golf (3 handicap), travel to Europe every year with my wife, and help our grandchildren become productive members of our society.
You'll find us almost every weekend wathcing our grandchildren compete in football, baseball, socker, lacross or swimming.
