Ed's Story

Let's see - 32 years.. Went to SMSU, now Missouri State in Springfield. Dated. Loved. Lost. Working with a contractor in Springfield, in youth ministry, and education. Met my future wife and moved to Kansas City. More youth ministry and teaching. Now work for an international media company and living in exile in Lawrence, Kansas. Two kids - Matthew (13) and Amy (10). I travel often to Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, Chicago and Austin. New York and San Francisco once a year or so. If you live in one of those places, drop me a line. During high school and college I kept up camping, backpacking and climbing. Still hunt and fish regularly. Both kids are crack shots. I spend most of my time keeping track of Matthew and Amy and ...Expand for more
all that they do - horses, Scouts, school. I have succesfully avoided being a soccer parent, though I have spent several summers coaching baseball with my son. Still go to the Cardinals every chance we get and even attended the Red Sox Cardinals historic game four of the World Series. My son and I attend opening day every year and have not missed one since he was born. I am not a Jayhawk fan. Never will be. Hope all of my old friends are doing well. If you read this and want to drop me a line - send email to eday at sunflower dot com. Love to hear from you. Love to reconnect with Katie Schmank, Billy Chase, Kevin Rushen, Alita Clark, Ron Stephans, Greg Haverman, Karen Hayman, other folks I used to see and run with. Take care all -
