I attended North View elementary school for grades 1 & 2, then Brookview elementary grades 3 through 6 (spending 5th at Valley View). I attended West View Jr High for one year before my family relocated to Channahon, IL at which point I attended Troy Jr High in Shorewood, Il.
After graduating from Minooka community HS in 1979 I attended Joliet Junior College earning an Associates Degree in Art.
I moved up to DeKalb in 1982 and finished getting my BFA from NIU in '85.

93 I started freelancing as a designer and illustrator in the toy industry, mainly for Tyco. During that time I got married, giving birth to a daughter in 1994.
In 1995 we relocated to the Chicagoland area, settling in Oak Park. The following year my son was born. In 1999 we relocated up to Roger's Park near the north shore in Chicago. I became a divorce' in 2003, sharing custody.
Since living in Chicago I've lived out a long-time dream of training in, and performing long-form improvisational comedy on stage.
As of this writing I've been keeping busy with my 2 kids, my career as an independent illustrator and toy maker, performing with my improv ensemble, and restoring the old victorian in which I live.
If you knew me, drop me a line sometime. I always like hearing from old classmates.
