Ed's Story
My best pal at DHS (eventually Best Man at my wedding) was Tom Engler. Tom only made it into the Pot O" Gold twice, 58 and 59, same picture both times. After that there was no mention of him.
Tom attended school for four years but did not graduate with us in 1961, a situation that could have been corrected by a concerned Councilor.

ether through basic training and A.I.T.
Tom was posted to Fort Lewis WA., and graduated from a local high school there.
After a three year hitch, Tom returned to Toledo, was married twice (no children) and died in 1992 or 93, before his 50th birthday.
This sad story is for anyone who knew my best pal Tom Engler, and wondered whatever became of him. Miss Ya Tom, Ed
