William's Story
I always wanted to be a engineer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I went to
Middle Georgia College in Cochran to
study engineering. But after 1 quarter
of slacking my studies, I decided to come back home for rest of the year, get my head on straight. Maybe I would try again the next fall.

happened. after several jobs, I started in the auto parts business in 1989. Now 19 years later,I manage the same store I started in.
I met my wonderful wife Karen in June of 2002, and we were married in November. Karen is the mother of our
beautiful girl Katie Mae. She is the Executive Directory of Tourism in Appling, As well as for Baxley Tree Fest and The Arts Council.
