Eddie's Story
What has happened since Colonial Heights High School?
I attended CHS from 1960-63. I have many fond memories of those times. For most of us there were personal goals & challenges to experience¿ some realized & some not, but many friendships were made. Those were the days¿ my 1951 Ford, played football (center & tackle, #53), ran track & threw Shot, Band (yeah percussion!), Drama club, and Boy Scouts. In 1963 I was off to Virginia Tech. While in college I was drafted & joined the US Air Force. I was stationed in Florida, Europe and Viet Nam... a very pivotal time. I returned & continued my education in graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

, became a proud Dad twice, and started a professional career in Human Resources. We transferred to Orlando, Florida where I worked for twenty five years as Director of HR in three industries (insurance, construction, Kennedy Space Center).
Through out the years I have been fortunate to have traveled to many foreign lands around the world and experience different cultures¿ hike-camp-kayak in remote areas¿ and interacting with wildlife and nature.
I recently retired and my wife Nan & I live on the St John¿s River in Central Florida. Occasionally I have returned to Virginia for visits & reunions¿ also funerals. It would be great to reconnect & remember the good old days with my CHS classmates.
