Life
Served USMC 1966-71;
attended MDCC '71-72;
graduated BBA FIU '76;
married '73, divorced '80;
worked in computers Miami-Dade County Information Technology, Aviation and Police Department;
retired Dec 31, 1999.
Single and on the road and traveling throughout the US.
Love cruising and have been all over the Caribbean.
Was living a blessed and active life until 2015.
Diagnosed with prostrate cancer in March, 2015 and began hormone treatment in May.
Started radiation in August and midway through my treatment, was hit head-on by
a snowbird in late...Expand for more
Sept which fractured my C2 vertebrae in two places which could
have been fatal or left me paralyzed. Wore a neck brace until mid-Feb of 2016.
April, 2016: Still working on mobility and getting rid of the 20 lbs I gained while inactive.
Things have gotten better since my last post although bouts with a skin and eye cancer have come and gone. Several Cruises a year and an annual trip to Key Largo make up my activities. Of course only got one cruise in 2020 before everything shut down..
