Eddie's Story
Life
After Lane I spent six years in the Marine Corps. I traveled to Somalia, Okinawa, Honduras, Korea, Morocco, and was stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA. I also visited Guatemala, Spain, England, and Scotland.
Next came Northern Illinois University and a B.A. in History. After teaching one year in DeKalb, IL, I moved to Yuma, AZ, where I live currently. I teach high school history.
For those who don't know, I moved to Yuma, AZ in 2003 and am teaching high school history. I love the Southwest. Rugged mountains, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, serene desert. And San Diego is a two hour drive away. Gorgeous ci...Expand for more

On February 22, 2008 I was hired to teach at a middle school in Medellin, Colombia! I will leave the US for South America in July of 2008. Don't know where I'll be for our 20-year reunion, but I'm sure going to try and make it.

Military
I served in the Marine Corps from 1991 - 1997. I was a TOW gunner (anti-tank weapons system), a troop leader at MCT (Marine Combat Training Battalion), and served on embassy duty (Marine Security Guard) at Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Rabat Morocco. I spent five weeks in Somalia, Dec 17 1992 - January 26 1993.
