Hi! Well, I didn't save the world. That was one of my goals but I suppose I'll leave that for the next generation. I got lonely in college and struck up a phone/mail romance with another former Vanden student (in fact, we had lived next door to each for awhile at Travis, though at that time I was too shy around women to talk to her). We got married right after I finished college (81) and moved to Sunnyvale. We bought a house in San Jose in '84. My first and only daughter was born to us in 1987 (she's is at UC Santa Cruz now, studying Linguistics). I've only worked at a few companies. First as a Systems Test engineer at Amdahl, where we built the worlds faster computers. While at Amdahl I moved into design engineering and found that I liked that best (though the lessons I learned as a Systems Test engineer still inform my designs).
