Edie's Story
Life
I live in Deep Creek, which is about 10 minutes south of Salmon Arm, British Columbia. I married James in 1989, but we are now divorcing :-(. However, we have two beautiful daughters, now 17 and 16.
I have been an instructor at Okanagan College for the last ten years. I teach office administration courses to at least 20 wonderful students each year. I have holidays every July and August, which is just one of the great perks of this awesome gig.
We have two pets, Tessa the black lab, and Hendrix the orange tabby. They keep us laughing.

s heavily involved in our community through volunteer work in our community association, first responders, roots and blues festival, and soccer. In fact, we live, breathe, and eat soccer every year from April through July. We also play through the winter at our small indoor arena, but it's not quite as intense as the outdoor season.
I have been back to Whitehorse a few times, the last time in the summer of 2004. My parents and one brother still live there and I am sure they always will. It is fun to show my daughters the old stompin' grounds!
