Edith's Story
Life
When I was 15 I met a great guy at a party named Henry, who lived in La Puente, CA. Within a couple of months we started dating. We dated for 8 years before we got married in 1993. We moved around alot. We lived in Monterey Park, Baldwin Park, West Covina, Chino Hills we are currently living in Las Vegas, NV. After being married for over 13 years, we were blessed with our 1st little angel on Oct 1, 2006. We named him Matthew Henry Reyes.
School
I went to Elysian Heights Elementary in Los Angeles, CA. Was bused to Mt. Gleason Jr. High in Sunland, CA. And was also bused to Verdugo Hills High in Tujunga, CA. I wouldn't mind doing it all over again. I met some wonderful friends who I still keep in touch with.
College
Well I didn't finish College. I started off at Glendale Community College. (one semester only) When I started to work in Whittier I decided to go back to school and started to attend Rio Hondo. After attending three semesters I took a break. I haven't been back. My sister's oldest daughter received her Bachelor's June 2007 and has now inspired me to go back. Don't know when but I'm hoping soon.
Workplace

in High School I started my first job at Buster Brown Shoe Store at the Glendale Galleria. I then went to work for Buffums Department Store at the Glendale Galleria. Right after I turned 18 I started to work for Union Federal Bank (in the Silverlake area). Who then got taken over by Glendale Federal Bank. Who then got taken over by Cal Fed. Finally I said enough. I had moved to Baldwin Park and the commute to LA was too much for me. I started to work at Delta Technical Coatings in Whittier, CA. I then moved to Chino Hills and thought the commute/traffic was too much for me again. I decide to stay home and work on my Tupperware and Mary Kay business. I did miss the office enviroment and decide to go back to work part time for Adelphia. Which only lasted a couple of months. I had completely forgotton that I had taken a test to work at the DMV over 2 years ago. And they finally called me. I started to work at the DMV in Fontana in 2005. When I had my 1st baby on Oct. 1, 2006; I decide to only work part time a couple of days out of the week. We moved in March 2008 to Las Vegas and I am currently going to stay home to raise my baby boy.
