Edmund's Story
UC Berkeley for undergrad degree. Moved to UCLA for doctorate degree in Microbiology & Immunology. Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Faculty member at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine since 1986. Still play violin in community orchestras and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. 0s. Competed in the Master's division at the Ringside amateur boxing tournament in 2012 and 2013.. Have 2 belts now but there's not a lot of competitors in my age/weight division. Nevertheless a good way to stay fit and active. Retired in 2017 after 31.5 years. Busy with music, teaching boxing classes, community volunteer work, medical school admissions committee, and occasional lectures. Have not kept up with anyone at Woodrow since leaving the bay area in 1975.
