Edna's Story

If it seems that I only talk about my grandchildren and not myself, that is because they are the best part of me.
My 7 year old granddaughter went away to camp this summer. She received the I AM Third award and we are so proud of her. There was only one award for the junior campers and one for the senior campers at Camp Winshape.
My sister in law went to Afghanistan in June, please pray for Sylvia and all our troops.
Adam, the youngest grandson is a year old now. He is still smiling but not walking so far.
I attended a football game Tuesday for one of my 4 grandchildren that are 5 years old, Carly is cheering for the recreational team at Coweta County, GO COWBOYS.
If any of you have any teen age grandchildren you know that the Jonas Brothers will make me lose my mind. The girls travelled to South Carolina for Junior SOS this summer and it was the first time in a while that the Jonas Brothers took a back seat to something. I still would love to arrange a meeting, my girls would be eternally grateful.

now, 5 girls and 5 boys. All of them are healthy and that is a true blessing.
I love coming to Georgia every week, and seeing the family there, but I may stop coming every week soon. Cooper, my 4th grandson was 2 years old on the 1st of July and running everywhere. He can say almost anything he wants to and he loves tools and tractors.
My Mother is still very active and I visit her on almost every trip for a short time.
I still leave on Sunday and go to Georgia and return on Tuesday one week and then on Wednesday the next. Being a part of their life makes my life more hectic and rewarding than I could have hoped.
Amanda, is in high school now and just a few steps away from driving on her own, next March. That really scares me with the way people do not pay attention now.
Bailee is adorable and she and everyone else knows it, we have a special game we play called Mermaid Nena....don't ask!
The twins, Joshua and Austin, are so smart that it is scary. The other day one of them asked me if I ate Nitrates....not hotdogs but...nitrates.
My oldest grandson is truly one of my best friends, he is a joy to be around and he is very funny,.
