Hi,my name is Edna Ruiz, Villarreal.I celebrate my b-day on July 3rd.and yes I did attend Saint Paul Catholic School way way back in the yr.1953 when FTHR.Lippo and Mother Cabrini were top directors of the school there in San Antonio, Tx. What I remember the most is when my first grade class went up to the cafeteria and sang 'Danny Boy'.I also remember the great big cinamon rolls they had at the cafeteria after our Sunday masses there. Along with the great rolls we would have hot coco.Pretzels were always my favorite during the week days during recess time. I remember Mom would pack me bologna and mustard sandwiches for lunch since she knew I loved to eat those particular sandwiches.I would always sit down next to Jerome and ate my lunch outside on the play ground. I distintively remember his green eyes staring down at my brown eyes while we ate together. His hair was a sandy blonde color and he had the reddest looking face and very small petite and short body.To me he was the prettiest thing I had ever set eyes on that year in 1953 and 1954.Ialso remember my...Expand for more
