Edward's Story
My name is Ed Bayes. Sorry for the corny picture, but im still learning the camera technics. Somehow, todays new camera's still wont erase age. I was to graduate in '61, but
left in the 11th grade to join the Army. While In the Army I got my GED and GBHS honored it. I also went on to college getting a job with the State of Maryland. I worked for 28 years and with 6 years military time, I retired at the ripe ole age of 49. I immediately sold everything and drove to San Diego were i had bought retirement property. I have lived out here 16 years in weather that does not include cold and snow.
Im been in the same relationship for 40 years and now plan on travelling the world. The dog is too old and blind, so once he leaves, then the bags ...Expand for more
are packed and we ain't comin' back for a long time.
I've had 4 major heart operations that have taught me what is important in life, and i found that daily piddly crap ain't in the top 100. So, stress is gone
and so are the irregular heartbeats.
I miss my friends back east, but they can visit and I now make one hell of a tour guide. I also reminence about the kids of Magothy and wonder how they are doing. Everyone now is grandparents, so I guess we don't look the same anymore. At least thats what the photo's say.
I wish everyone wellness and happiness and that you only remember the goodtimes, like the Rhapsody Club, the Buddy Deane Show, Milt Grant,
WCAO Top 40 and Shadow Stumpers, The Flying Wing, Zorro and pop the magic twanger, froggy.
