Hi, to all of you!
Tip of the day, don't get old! You wont like it! Ha, haaaaaaaa. You know that as you get older you get gray, and wrinkled, however no one tells you about the pain! If you are reading this, assuming that you are alive, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Well enough of the sarcasm, on with the story.
Bobbie, and I were married for 56 wonderful years. We have 4 children, Ed is 56, and lives in Durham NC. Rick is 54, and lives in Mentor, Dave is 50, and lives in Painesville. Ed has 4 girl's, Rick has 3 boy's, Dave has 1 of each, and Joan has 2 girl's. Also there are 7 great grandchildren. Two girl's, and five boy's. As most of you that have been in touch with me know Bobbie went home to be wih Jesus on April, 28th. 2011. I miss her terribly. She spent the last 5 years of her life in Cardinal Woods Nursing, and Rehab. Center. I was by her ...Expand for more
side 7 day's a week. When Bobbie went in to the nursing home I went to live with my daughter, and her family here in Madison, Ohio.
It has been over a year since Bobbie went home, and my ultimate goal is to be home with my Jesus, and my Bobbie for all of eternity! We started a nursing home visitation ministry a year ago in her honor. I am getting on with my life. I have one question for anyone reading this. WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO SPEND ETERNITY?? Jesus, and I care,do you? We love you!
08/28/12 Several weeks ago at a picnic,(Aug. 2nd to be exact) I met Rebecca Higgins (Droske) class of 1954 WUHS. Who also lives in Madison. We have been seeing each other for the last 3 weeks. We are just friends at this point. We are ministering together at Cardinal Woods Nersing Home. She also is a Born Again Christian who loves the Lord Jesus Christ.
