Edward's Story
Life
After graduation from DFHS I went on to get a BA from SUNY Binghamton, and then an MS in biology from the U. of Oregon. While there I was married to a woman I met in college at Binghamton, Donna, whom I am still best friends with even though we divorced. My daughter, Wendy, was born a year after we were married. I taught for four years at The Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, then entered a graduate program in biology at SUNY Stony Brook. d wound up as a biology, oceanography, and ecology teacher at Mamaroneck High for the next twenty five years. (I got the Mamaroneck job after my old alma mater, DF, failed to hire me for a biology opening there!) I was very active for many years in officiating high school baseball, soccer, and basketball in Westchester County, and also became an NCAA baseball umpire. I finally got run down and ceased all my officiating about ten years ago. I retired from teaching in June of 1997, and am now living the life of leisure up here in Wappingers Falls.
