Edward Kozloff:  

Ed appeared on the running scene long before the running boom. At Cooley I was the Captain of the track and cross-country team and was All-City in cross-country. After graduation I joined the Army Reserves and set an an Army Basic training fitness record at Ft. Knox in 1961. I received a Bachelor's Degree at Wayne State University in 1965 where I ran track and cross-country and was chosen as the track captain but gave the honor to a teammate because of early graduation. I received a Master's Degree at the University of Colorado in 1967 and attended Texas A&M during the 1967 - 1968 school year. I attended Florida State University in 1968 - 1969 and received a Doctoral Degree from FSU in 1970. I was a teacher with the Warren Consolidated School System from 1969 - 2005.
