Edward's Story
When I finished high school, I attended Patrick Henry Jr. College for about 1 and one half years. Then I went to University of South Alabama for one and one half years. Then I served in the Air Force for four years. On July 19, 1974, I got out of the Air Force thinking I was going back to University of South Alabama. My Mom pursauded me to go to Ala. State University for financial reasons. I joined the band at ASU and I fall in love with the school and the band.They tried to make me join Omega Si Fraturnity,but I said no, because I was either going to kill them or They was going to kill me. I played the clarinet and practiced. I finished college in 1977. I got a job working for the highway dept. in Dec., 1977. I got married in April, 1978 to Janice Salter because I needed a woman. A man is got to do what man go to do,(ha).
When I was going to choir reheasal one day in 1974, I went in the church before choir reheasal started and I was trying to decide whether to go to prayer service...Expand for more
or not, and then I decided to not go when a beautiful lightskined girl came in and asked me if I was going in to prayer service. I said "no, but if you go in, I will go in with you." She said let's go in. We went in. I sat on the left side of the church thinking she was going to sit by me, but she sat on the right side. We listened to one prayer, then she got up giving me an indication that she was going to the (I thought) restroom. I turned around looking at the other people in the church one second. Then I turned around to look at her beautiful body as she walked out. I did not see her and I did not see her anymore after that. She could not have went out the church that fast. She vanished. I kept going to prayer service since that time thinking I was going to see her again, until around 1999 when my job stop me when I had to work on Thursdays(prayer meeting days).I am going to ask you, do you think that lady was an angel and she had beautiful golden hair? I think she was an angel.
