Edward's Story
Life
After high school I went to work for the Bell system for C&P Telephone Co of Virginia where I stayed untill the break up of the Bell System. I was transfered to AT&T where I continued to work until the spin off of Lucent Tech. I worked for Lucent until my retirement in 2000 after 33 years. Since my retirement my wife and another former Lucent employee started a communication company, T R Solutions which I work for as a contractor enjoying traveling around the country installing communication systems. We also enjoy cruising at least once a year with Royal Caribbean and spending time in our time share in Nassau. I continue to do my volunteer work as a member of the East Hanover Vol Rescue Squad in Mechanicsville Va and just received my 30 year pin. dward and The BD's band during the late 60's. Since then the band has reunited 2 times. At the present time the band is back together playing and having fun. If you enjoy looking at old bands of the past check out the heybabydays.com web page. Greg Haynes has written a book about all the bands of th 60's with pictures CD's and stories including th BD's. I have two daughters from my 1st marrige Shannon, and Shara Martin. Shannon is a Batallion Chief with Hanover Fire and EMS in Hanover County Va and Shara is a veterinary Tech at the New York Aquarium in New York City. Shara also works for a Emergency Veterinary hospital in NY and is a member of the east coast stranding team for beached sea life. I have one grand-son Mason 3yo from my daughter Shannon. I will update and make changes as things happen.
