Hi You All, Where to start? I'm Gay, probably some of you who hadn't heard aren't too surprised. I graduated from OSU with a BS in Social Work. I worked for about 15 years in that field mainly as an Alcoholism Counselor. I was a member of the first Board of the National Association of Gay and Lesbian Alcoholism Counselors. Finally I got very burnt out trying to tell other folks how to live there lives. I quit, did odd jobs for awhile and finally drifted into retail. I've worked for Half Price Books for the last 20 years, except for a couple that I was off on disabiliity. I have HIV Disease (AIDs). I tested postive about '81. I stayed basically healthy for over 10 years, that was an unusally long time back then. Finally I did get very sick, eventually was a Hospice patienrt for a few months. They decided I wasn't going to die in the near future and discharged me. Again something that rarely happens.
