Update: Proud to announce that one of my projects was recently named one of Engineering News-Record (ENR) California’s 2021 Best Project Winners. The Union-Patsaouras Plaza Busway Station Transit Busway Station received the honor for ENR’s Best Airport/Transit Project in Southern California. Our company, NCM Engineering, was the prime design firm for this design-build project. We provided civil, roadway engineering and structural engineering services for widening of the I-10/El Monte Busway bridge to add a bus plaza along with a pedestrian ramp and bridge connecting to Union Station. The project design had to design around the Metro Red Line light rail station underground below the busway bridge. Modifications were made at freeway ramps along the Hollywood freeway. As the lead civil engineer on the project, I led a team of civil engineers to provide the plans and specifications for the freeway, roadway, site design, and drainage improvements....Expand for more
