Life
I have Retired!!! Left NRFD in 2004 officially retired in 2005.
After 30+ years in the Fire Service forced to retire, medical reasons. Over the years of FD employment took it's toll. It was not the end to a career I had in mind, but it is an end and I'm sitll standing, albite, just a little worse for the wear.
Got real lucky and found the problem early... for the most part everythig still works the way it should, life goes on.
So now, albite a few years early, like the rest of us "Boomers" I get to decide wh...Expand for more
at I wanna be when I grow up, all over again! Hmmmm what to do next in life...whoa this could be fun...!
Life is great, living in Andover; my kids are the best; I got married in June of '04. OK, so that took way too much time and too many attemps to get that right...but I did. So what else is there? Ain't we lucky!
Headed south to Carolinas (?) or where ever there is year round surfing in next few years, and something less than 6 months worth of winter, after my youngest grads. HS.
