Edward's Story

Don't really care how others remember me, we were all just figuring out ourselves in school, and had little if any of our current selves intact yet. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a boss with a brain-cell, fun, and advancement to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration comes from my Mom and Dad, and God I have lived in Indianapolis, Tampa, FL Sarasota, FL, back to Indy, and likely soon out to Denver (preferable Rollinsville or Nederland). I am an information junkie, will spend hours on end surfin the net going from one idea or concept to another just reading whatever. Biggest surprise I have had is that Life has so many more possibilities than anyone could ever dream of. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my mortgage and add on a bit of intelligence. My dream home would be a 3,500 sq ft Log Home 2-10 miles from anyone. There are so many teachers I would like to see again, from Both the Webb School and Denver Academy. Chief among them are Steve Tattum. If I won $100 million, I'd give $10Mil of it to the parents, then spend the rest on buying an Island off the coast of Scotland, building a business and buying a new larger building for my church. This story wizard is getting a bit personal: "To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom?" Not sure I can answer that without a bit of vulgarity mixed in........hmmmm......;-/ My current age is 42. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be Decrepit. I was so completely RIGHT......not. I intend to enter law school soon. Story wizard getting personal again: "What happened to your first crush?" Yea......not going there......... My best friend would tell you I'm Big Hearted, and gruff to a fault, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as the same. I share my home with Hank, which I find to be the sweetest Dog I have even know. Actually, he is not sure he is going to continue to let me live here, since it is really HIS ho...Expand for more
me. Story wizard at it again:"What happened to your first crush?" Only trophy I will talk about is the 42lb Norther Pike I caught on Molson Lake in norther Manitoba, with a "Red-Eye" lure, of the total 2-triple hooks on it, the lure had 4 snap off and the other two bent out of shape, took me over an hour to pull it in. Had fun that day, my dad was with me. The one do-over, would be to Kick-the-Ass of the guy who ran up to my sister on my graduation night, and said something to her about me, that he had no-business saying. I let it slide at the time, cause I was embarrassed, but looking back on it, he deserved to be beaten (and if you read this, you know who you are. But, since my whole family already knew, it was really a moot point). In 10 years, I hope to be a wealthy lawyer about to gain partnership in a Law Firm. I'm going to get there by Dedication and a strong work and study ethic. Basically this is what I did after I left D.A.: Let's see. I left DA, and went to Southern-ILL Univ. Carbondale, was there 1.5 years and flunked out. Worked full-time for six month then went to Colorado Mountain College-Leadville, and redeemed my educational record after a stint in Outdoor Semester in the Rockies at CMC. Went to IUPUI (IU and Purdue combined in Indy), for 7 years. Got sick of school, and worked are various companies until December 2003. Was then hired at the new University of Phoenix's Indy campus. Returned to school that spring, and finished my Bachelors in spring 2006. I will finish an MBA in December of 2008 (woohoo), and plan to take the LSAT early 2009. If all goes as I hope it does, I intend to enter Univ. of Denver's Strum Law School late 2009-early 2010. Attending Denver Academy was the best thing for me. Steve Tatum and the crew, taught me HOW to Learn, and that has stuck with me, even 20 years later. Financially I have not achieved much in life, but have finally made it further than most thought I would, (my mom always thought I could tho).
