Attended the 10th Reunion, but recognised only 3 people, so I suppose the nerds and geeks were doing other things. Meanwhile, I jumped at the opportunity to leave the Midwest (I hated those winters; the locals claim they build character, but they lie!) so I mistakenly headed to New Jersey. After a couple of years, I arrived in Palo Alto CA, which is definitely better than New Jersey. Then, on to San Diego, where I did an 18 year stint with General Dynamics and then a 16 year stint with Cubic. I worked on many defense programs what go zoom and boom (my expertise being Electromagnetic Compatibility, a $20 term for getting electronics gadgets to work happily with other electronics gadgets). However, as of 2012, I am now a retired old geezer. I am now living in Chula Vista CA (any further southwest and I'll fall in the Tijuana River swamps), so I suppose I finally have my revenge over that Chicago weather. Married one lovely lady, Sandra, from Pennsylvania, but she died in 1999.
